Supportive Friends in a Support Group

Life is tough. In the bible, it is considered like a race, which means that you have to huff and puff it until you real your goal.

And like in a race, like a marathon, there are people who support you on the side. These are the people who cheer you on, give you water, or medics who just wait and see if you are okay. If not, they are always on standby to give you first-aid relief if necessary. They are like the stanchions that you need to finish the race.

In the race of life, it is also what we need. We need people who will help us make this life a more pleasant and productive one. We help each other out, encourage each other when things get tough, and we may also have to give and take water or medicines when the need arises.

I am thankful to have such friends at different points in my life. I just felt so bad that recently, I lost a friend, someone whom I have trusted for more than 10 yeas. I am so sad that the friendship had to end. And I never thought that our friendship would be tested like this. But I guess, it is time to move on and God has replaced the lost friendship with new friends and long time ones that have just been strengthened lately. Thank God!

Find good friends. They make life more beautiful.
